What is Local Hack Day: Build 2022?
Local Hack Day: Build is your opportunity to spend a week focused on creating and developing the projects you’ve always wanted to tackle. In accepting this quest, you are in for an adventure featuring workshops, fun mini-events, challenges, panels, and more. These will help you to earn experience points no matter what level of hacking you are at, whether it’s writing your first lines of code or creating a multi-faceted project.
We will be bringing back all of your favorite features from Local Hack Day Learn, Build, and Share 2021 like challenges, live technical sessions with MLHers, mini-events galore, and some cool content from our partners! Here’s a sneak peek:

What is a Guild? How can I be a part of it?
One of the best parts of our community is that it allows people to meet and make connections with others, regardless of where you live. guilds are smaller communities within Major League Hacking. Whether you come in with a guild or not, you won’t be hacking alone.
Who organized Local Hack Day?
Local Hack Day is organized by Major League Hacking (MLH). It is our mission to empower hackers worldwide by providing them with the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed.
Requirements
Your challenge submission must be completed within the submission period.
When relevent, your code must be available in some sort of public repository.
If you're continuing work on an old project, you MUST specify in your Devpost what was worked on 1) before this day one of Local Hack Day: Build 2022 and 2) during day day of Local Hack Day: Build 2022.

As I’m sure you know, keeping your passwords safe is extremely important. Websites help to keep our passwords safe by encrypting them before they save them. We want to challenge you to write code to encrypt a password on your own!
Turn One of Your Projects into a Non-Mainstream Language
Maybe you’ve heard of Python, but have you heard of EmojiCode? Yup, it’s what it sounds like - a programming language made entirely of emojis. It’s our final day of daily challenges, so let’s get a little out of the box and translate one of your projects into a non-mainstream language.
Build a Sudoku Solver
Ever wanted to solve your daily sudoku puzzle faster than ever? Write code to solve a sudoku puzzle. So you don’t feel puzzled about where to submit, head to the Day 3 Devpost.

Build with a front-end framework
Try incorporating Bootstrap, Foundation, HTML Boilerplate, or any other front-end framework into a website - either one you’ve already created or spin up a new one. Show it to us on the Day 3 Devpost.
Get Started With Deepgram
Build better voice applications with faster, more accurate transcription with our Speech Recognition API. Sign up for a Deepgram account at[https://hackp.ac/lhdbuild-deepgram] and complete the missions in your dashboard. Submit a repo with the code you wrote, and a screenshot of your dashboard showing the Project ID and all of the completed missions to our Day 3 Devpost.
Build a Chatroom Server with Python & Linode
